Anggota Komisi III DPR, Gilang Dhielafararez, mendesak kepolisian untuk mengusut tuntas kasus penganiayaan terhadap Dwi Ayu Darmawati, seorang karyawan toko roti di Jakarta Timur. Selain pelaku penganiayaan, Gilang juga meminta penyelidikan terhadap dua pengacara yang diduga menipu korban.

Salah satu pengacara dilaporkan mengaku sebagai utusan dari Polda, sementara pengacara lainnya diduga menipu korban hingga Rp12 juta. Uang tersebut diperoleh dari hasil penjualan motor keluarga Dwi Ayu.
“Nama baik Polri turut dipertaruhkan. Setelah dianggap lambat menangani kasus ini, kini muncul pengacara yang mengaku sebagai utusan polisi dan menipu korban. Korban benar-benar mengalami penderitaan bertubi-tubi,” ujar Gilang di Jakarta, Rabu (18/12/2024).
Pengacara Ganda, Masalah Ganda
Dwi Ayu diketahui telah berganti pengacara hingga tiga kali. Pengacara pertama mengaku berasal dari lembaga bantuan hukum (LBH) sekaligus utusan Polda, tetapi ternyata bekerja untuk keluarga pelaku penganiayaan, George Sugama Halim (GSH). Konflik kepentingan ini membuat Dwi Ayu dan keluarganya mengganti pengacara.
Namun, pengacara kedua justru melakukan penipuan dengan menerima uang sebesar Rp12 juta tanpa memberikan bantuan hukum yang diharapkan. Pengacara tersebut bahkan sulit dihubungi setelah pembayaran diterima.
Kini, Dwi Ayu telah menunjuk pengacara baru, yaitu John dan Jaenudin, yang disebut-sebut lebih serius menangani kasus tersebut.
Kritik terhadap Penegakan Hukum
Gilang menyoroti pentingnya penyelidikan menyeluruh terhadap kedua pengacara yang diduga menipu korban. “Penyelidikan ini sangat penting, terutama karena salah satu pengacara membawa-bawa nama polisi. Kepercayaan publik terhadap institusi hukum sangat bergantung pada penyelesaian kasus seperti ini,” tegasnya.
Ia juga meminta aparat penegak hukum bertindak profesional tanpa diskriminasi. “Hukum harus ditegakkan tanpa pandang bulu, termasuk jika pelaku berasal dari keluarga berpengaruh,” tambahnya.
Dampak Kekerasan terhadap Pekerja
Gilang menekankan bahwa kasus penganiayaan ini menjadi bukti ketimpangan relasi kuasa di tempat kerja. “Kekerasan seperti ini tidak hanya berdampak pada fisik, tetapi juga psikologis dan sosial korban,” jelasnya.
Ia juga mengaitkan kasus ini dengan insiden serupa, seperti kekerasan terhadap mahasiswa koas oleh pihak berkuasa. Menurut Gilang, fenomena ini menunjukkan adanya pola buruk yang harus segera dihentikan.
DPR Akan Kawal hingga Tuntas
Gilang memastikan bahwa DPR akan mengawal kasus ini hingga selesai. Ia juga mengingatkan aparat penegak hukum untuk bertindak transparan tanpa menunggu kasus menjadi viral.
“Tugas aparat hukum adalah menciptakan keadilan bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia, baik kasus tersebut viral atau tidak,” pungkasnya.
